Goals

Every year a friend of mine and I decide to challenge each other and make new years resolutions together. Going into 2012 we decided it was time to make our lifestyles better - more exercise, because you can never get enough, right?

So here's our goal: Exercise 5 times a week for at least 30 minutes. Seems very doable, and it is. The twist? Every day missed we have to put a dollar in a jar, store it away, and every 3 months the person with the most missed days pays up.
The winner then gets a fully-funded trip to visit the other.

These first 3 months I've rocked it, yet I can do better, which is why I decided to begin a blog about the exercise I participate in. I want to share what has worked for me, what hasn't and hopefully I'll be able to improve my exercise to not only be accomplished, but also more effective.

I'm also planning on running Bloomsday, http://www.bloomsdayrun.org/, and I WILL run the entire distance this year, which I have yet to do. Along with that I'm doing the Northwest Run for Epilepsy 2012, http://www.epilepsynw.org/efnw-slider-information/northwest-run-walk-for-epilepsy. And I'm in the process of training for a half-marathon, which there are a lot to choose from, so input on which ones are a thumbs up or thumbs down (preferably in the NW) would be welcomed.

I talked to someone who used to run marathons, climb mountains, bike the olympic peninsula and is now an avid swimmer and the advice she gave me was in reference to a picture.

The message that she had to share about it impacted me because of it's simplicity: the turtle didn't get on the fencepost by itself.

  1. We tried to get pregnant for a few years in a local clinic. There were no results. We've tried everything possible but nothing. We were recommended to use eggs. I know we have to go abroad. I was terrified. I didn't know where to go and where to begin my search. When my friend recommended Dr Itua to me from western Africa I thought she was joking. I knew nothing about that country but I know they have powerful gifts on herbal medicines and I was afraid because of the language barrier. Anyway, she convinced me to give it a try. She told me that Dr Itua can also cure my prostate cancer which gives me more motivation to give a try to Dr Itua herbal center medicines. I've done the research and thought that maybe this really is a good idea. Dr Itua has reasonable prices. I ordered two four bottles and I drank it as instructed and everything went well. My prostate cancer is gone. Also it has high rates of successful treatments. Plus it uses natural herbs. Well I should say I was convinced. We contacted Dr Itua and now we can say it was the best decision in our lives. We were trying for so long to have a child and suddenly it all looked so simple. Dr Itua was so confident and hopeful he projected those feelings on me too. I am so happy to be a mother and eternally thankful to Dr Itua herbal Cure . Don’t be afraid and just do it!
